    Description

    Sealed Windows 3.1 compatible with MS Dos or PC-DOS(!). This is unopened. It contains 5.25 and 3.5 inch diskettes, as well as likely a brick of manuals in there as it's got some solid weight in there.  The shrink-wrap has a slice on the back (see pic), but is only visible from the back. It has not impacted the cardboard or sealed status of the box.
    The fact that we have a 3.1 sealed New in Box edition of Windows 3.1 is cool. But to have it be stamped with the CMOS logo is beyond rare. This edition was released in 1992.
    Confusing, I know, as CMOS wasn't ran operating system or anything. It's just some very cool memory tech used for storing the BIOS that was really hitting it's stride in the late 80s. So Microsoft decided to use CMOS as a marketing tool is both hilarious and insightful.
